Doctor-led injectables
A collagen biostimulator for gradual improvement in selected facial volume loss and skin structure.
Book a Sculptra consultationThe treatment
Sculptra is an injectable collagen biostimulator made with poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It encourages your body to produce collagen in the treated area, so changes develop over weeks and months rather than appearing as an immediate finished result.
It may gradually improve the appearance of facial fullness, firmness and skin structure in suitable patients. Dr Yash assesses whether this approach matches your goals.
After treatment, the initial fullness from the treatment fluid settles. The PLLA particles stimulate a gradual collagen response, and the longer-term change develops over time.
Why a course? Appointments are spaced to assess progress and build the result gradually.
01 / Your concerns
The proposed treatment areas depend on your anatomy, volume loss and the product’s appropriate use.
Gradual improvement may be considered when fullness or support through the cheek and mid-face has reduced.
Temple hollowing may be discussed for suitable patients. This area needs careful anatomical assessment and an individual treatment plan.
Loss of fullness in front of the ears can affect facial balance. Dr Yash will assess whether Sculptra is suitable for your particular pattern of change.
Improving underlying support may soften the appearance of selected facial folds over time. It is not intended for precise, immediate shaping.
02 / Assessment
Dr Yash reviews your medical history, facial anatomy, previous injectables and the change you would like to see.
A course of around two to three sessions over a few months is common, but the number and spacing are tailored to you.
Cost: The full proposed course and review plan are discussed before treatment.
Results develop gradually. Early swelling or fullness after an appointment is temporary and is not the final result.
Review: Progress is assessed over time rather than immediately after an injection.
03 / Treatment & recovery
Dr Yash will explain the procedure, risks and aftercare for the areas planned before you decide to proceed.
Sculptra is placed by injection. Brief stinging or pressure may occur, and comfort measures are discussed beforehand.
Swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising may follow. Plan around important events in case these are noticeable.
Massage of the treated area is commonly advised after Sculptra. Follow the specific instructions Dr Yash provides for your treatment.
Small or delayed lumps and other complications can occur. Contact the clinic about persistent or unexpected symptoms; urgent symptoms need prompt medical assessment.

Often around two to three sessions over a few months. Dr Yash will recommend a course after assessing you.
No. It cannot be dissolved with the enzyme used for hyaluronic acid fillers, so careful assessment and a gradual plan are important.
Possibly. The temple area requires careful assessment of anatomy, suitability and the appropriate treatment approach.
