Jawline definition
Endolift may help improve the transition between the lower face and neck when mild to moderate laxity is blurring the jawline. The result is a refinement rather than a surgical lift.

Endolift uses a very fine optical fibre beneath the skin to deliver 1470 nm laser energy. The heat aims to contract tissue and stimulate collagen remodelling. In selected patients, it may also reduce small pockets of fat around the jowls or under the chin.
It is a medical procedure rather than a surface facial. Suitability depends on the degree of laxity, amount of fullness, anatomy and the result you hope to achieve. It is not a substitute for surgery when there is substantial excess skin.
After consultation, the area is marked and prepared. Local anaesthetic and comfort measures are discussed. A fine fibre is introduced beneath the skin; aftercare and review are arranged.
Personalised assessment: We review your medical history, skin, treatment area and any reasons to defer treatment.
01 / Concerns
The assessment identifies whether loose skin, jowl fat, under-chin fullness or facial structure is softening your jawline.

Explore jawline definition →Selected small fat pockets and skin laxity around the jowls may respond. We assess whether removing volume would help the shape, as a hollow lower face may need a different plan.
Explore volume and laxity →A small pocket beneath the chin combined with some skin laxity may be suitable. More substantial fat, loose skin or neck muscle bands can require another approach.
Explore neck concerns →If the main concern is a recessed chin or loss of structural support, a carefully planned injectable or surgical opinion may suit better. Dr Yash will explain the options after examining your profile.

Endolift is usually planned as one treatment. Your clinician will review the result after swelling settles and the skin has had time to remodel.
Most plans start with a single session for the chosen jawline or under-chin area. A second treatment is not routinely promised; any further procedure depends on the response and your goals.
Some tightening may be apparent early, but swelling can temporarily distort the outline. Judge the contour after it settles; collagen-related changes may continue over roughly three to six months. Results vary.
03 / Treatment & downtime
It is a medical procedure beneath the skin. Plan for some visible swelling even if you feel ready for normal activities sooner.
The area is marked and cleaned. Local anaesthetic is usually used before the fine fibre is passed under the skin. You may feel pressure, warmth or pulling, but tell the clinician if you are uncomfortable.
The jawline or under-chin area may feel sore, tight, warm or swollen. Bruising, small entry marks and temporary altered sensation can occur. Swelling can initially mask the result.
Many people resume routine activities within a day or two, but visible swelling or bruising may last several days and occasionally up to two weeks. Book around important events; your own recovery may differ.
Follow the clinic’s advice on cleansing, exercise, massage and any compression garment. Possible complications include infection, burns, contour irregularity, prolonged numbness or nerve irritation. Seek prompt review for worsening pain, spreading redness or new facial weakness.
Helpful answers
It delivers laser energy beneath the skin to support tissue contraction and collagen remodelling. It may improve mild to moderate lower-face laxity and selected small jowl fat pockets, making the jawline appear more defined.
It may help with localised under-chin fat and laxity. If fullness is substantial or the issue is neck muscle, anatomy or excess skin, another option may be more appropriate.
No. It does not surgically reposition tissue or remove substantial excess skin. A consultation can establish whether a modest contour change would meet your goals.
Usually one session is planned for the selected area, followed by a review. Further treatment, if considered, depends on healing, response and the result you want.
Some people return to routine activities within 24-48 hours. Swelling, bruising or tenderness may remain visible for several days, occasionally up to two weeks. Allow more time before photographs or important events.
Early tightening can be obscured by swelling. The outline becomes easier to assess as swelling settles; collagen remodelling may continue for around three to six months. We arrange a review rather than judging the result immediately.
Local anaesthetic is usually used. You may feel pressure or warmth during the procedure and some tenderness afterwards. The clinician will discuss comfort and pain relief before treatment.
The fibre enters through a small point, which may leave a temporary mark. Bruising, numbness or tingling can occur; uncommon complications include burns, infection, contour changes and nerve irritation. Your personal risks are discussed in consultation.
It depends. Reducing fat can worsen hollowness in some faces. We examine the balance of laxity, fat and structural support before recommending treatment.
There is no fixed duration. Ageing continues, and the result depends on anatomy, the original concern and individual response. We will discuss realistic expectations for your jawline.
