Understanding the area

What would you like to improve?

The neck and décolletage have delicate skin. We assess whether your main concern is texture, firmness, deeper lines or sun-related colour changes before recommending treatment.

A plan for your skin and goals

We look at the neck and chest separately, including skin quality, pigmentation and degree of laxity. Treatment choice and recovery vary by area.

Personalised assessment

Neck & décolletage consultation

We discuss your priorities, skin history, suitability and realistic outcomes, then recommend a plan that fits your recovery time.

What to expect: No treatment downtime from the consultation. A patch test or further assessment may be needed for some options.

02 / Skin quality & fine lines

Does the skin look thinner or crepey?

These options focus on hydration, texture and fine lines. They are less suited to substantial loose skin.

Crepey neck skin

Profhilo

An injectable skin-quality treatment that may improve hydration and the appearance of fine lines on a suitable neck.

What to expect: Brief injections; small bumps, tenderness or bruising can occur. Usually planned as a short course, with gradual results.

Selected décolletage lines

Diluted Radiesse

May be considered for skin quality and wrinkles across the upper chest. Dilution and placement are tailored to the area; it is not used here as a conventional volume filler.

What to expect: Injections may cause tenderness, swelling or bruising. Improvement develops over time; the plan is individual.

Fine lines & delicate skin

Polynucleotides

May support skin quality where the neck or upper chest has fine lines and a crepey appearance.

What to expect: Small injections can leave temporary bumps, redness or bruising. A course is commonly discussed.

03 / Firmness & texture

Is the skin beginning to loosen?

We distinguish early laxity from more pronounced folds. Treatments differ in intensity and visible recovery.

Early laxity

Radiofrequency

Non-needle radiofrequency warms the skin and may help with early changes in firmness.

What to expect: Warmth during treatment and possible short-lived redness. Little visible recovery for many people; a course may be advised.

Texture & mild laxity

Secret PRO RF microneedling

Combines microneedling and radiofrequency to target texture, fine lines and selected mild laxity. The neck and chest require tailored settings.

What to expect: Numbing may be used. Redness, swelling or sensitivity can follow for several days; often planned as a course.

More intensive resurfacing

Fractional CO₂ laser

May be considered for selected texture, lines or laxity when a more intensive resurfacing approach is appropriate.

What to expect: Numbing and a longer visible recovery with redness, roughness or peeling. Suitability and treatment settings need careful assessment on the neck and chest.

04 / Uneven tone

Sun spots or patchy colour?

Not all pigmentation is the same. We assess the marks before choosing a device or recommending a medical check.

Selected pigmentation

ClearLift or Harmony light treatment

An appropriate laser or light option may help selected sun-related pigmentation and uneven tone across the neck or décolletage.

What to expect: Sensation and recovery depend on the device and settings. Temporary redness or darkening of treated spots may occur; several sessions may be needed.

A new, changing or suspicious mark needs medical assessment before cosmetic treatment.

05 / Upper-neck contour

Concerned about the area below the chin?

Skin texture and the contour under the chin are different concerns. We assess the cause before recommending a treatment.

Selected under-chin laxity

Endolift

A minimally invasive laser procedure that may be considered for selected under-chin or upper-neck contour and laxity concerns.

What to expect: Local anaesthetic and more recovery than surface treatments. Swelling or bruising can occur; suitability and likely recovery are discussed in consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Which option is best for my neck?

It depends on whether the main issue is skin quality, colour, laxity or contour. We recommend a plan after examining the area.

Are treatments painful?

Radiofrequency generally feels warm. Injectables involve brief injections. Numbing is discussed for microneedling, resurfacing and Endolift.

Will I need time off?

Injectables can leave temporary bumps or bruises; radiofrequency often has little visible recovery. RF microneedling, CO₂ resurfacing and Endolift may need more planning around redness or swelling.

How many sessions are needed?

Some options are planned as a course. The number depends on the treatment, skin response and your goals; we explain a proposed schedule at consultation.

Can you treat both my neck and chest?

Often, but the skin differs between the two areas. We may recommend different treatments or settings for each.
