Radiesse is an injectable collagen biostimulator made with calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel.
For suitable facial or hand treatments, the gel can provide an initial change in fullness or contour. The CaHA particles also encourage collagen and elastin production over time. The way the product is prepared and placed depends on the treatment goal.
Important: Radiesse cannot be dissolved with the enzyme used for hyaluronic acid filler. Careful assessment and a considered treatment plan are essential.
At first: The gel may add structure or fullness where appropriate. Early swelling can affect how the area looks.
Over time: CaHA stimulates a collagen and elastin response. Results vary by individual and treatment area.
Décolletage: Diluted Radiesse is used for wrinkles and skin quality rather than conventional volume filling.
